Class Descriptions:

Ashtanga Class – Students are introduced to the breathing style and fundamentals of Ashtanga; a yoga practice developed by Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, India.  Ashtanga is typically a dynamic, heat building practice that focuses on strength, concentration and flexibility. 

Community Class - the regular Moksha Yoga series taught by new teachers. Free only for students that hold unlimied passes, otherwise cost is minimum $5.00 donation and is suitable for students of all levels.

Karma - is the regular Moksha yoga series but students may only attend by donation (minimum $5.00 - all proceeds go to charity, no passes) this class is suitable for students of all levels.

Moksha - The Moksha Yoga series which consists of 40 poses practiced in a heated room designed to promote openess through your hips and strength through the upper body while detoxifying your entire body. Both standing and seated poses are practiced, giving a balanced cardiovascular workout.

Power Flow - A challenging and innovative flow class inspired by Baron Baptiste and it is not suitable for beginners.  Very cardiovascular, you are constantly flowing through poses.

Privates - are when the studio is available for one-on-one or group private instruction (depending on teacher availability)


Please note:

  • All classes are done in a hot room.
  • All classes are 90 minutes long unless otherwise indicated and are open to all levels of experience. Please be aware that the PowerFlow classes are more intense and provide a different experience from a regular Moksha class.
  • Drop in! Reservations are not necessary.
  • Arrive 15 minutes prior to class time, latecomers not permitted.
  • Bring a bath towel, yoga mat and bottle of water (all available - to rent or to buy). Click here for more info.
